Whilst on a family holiday with David in Crete, of course I had to go diving in the crystal waters!
I booked my diving trip with Creta’s Happy Divers (https://www.happydivers.gr) and they did not disappoint! It was 26 degrees in the water and the visibility was about 20 metres on the boat dives and 15 metres on the shore dive.
On the boat dives I was lucky to hold a sea urchin, swim with lots of fish and feed them!

My diving instructor, Nikos Koytoylakis was brilliant! He made me feel very safe and comfortable and was a good laugh…
He also saved my fingers from being taken off by a fish, I now know not to hold on to a lump of fish food!…
Before this huge ugly looking fish came out of nowhere, I was having great fun feeding the little ones…
I also learnt that sea urchins have legs…
Even though I had a bit of a scare (being my own fault ha!), my fingers are safe and I absolutely loved both dives!
I then managed to squeeze a shore dive in from the hotels private beach before heading home! This was a very chilled dive and I just enjoyed exploring the crystal clear, warm waters and following more fish!
