January 2018: Phi Phi Islands, Thailand

I went on a diving trip with Sea Fun Divers (https://www.seafundivers.com) around the coral reefs off of the Phi Phi Islands. I had a 6am pick up and 3 hour boat trip just to get there but it was all worth it! I completed two boat dives down to about 16 metres. The visibility was absolutely incredible and I saw 20 metres + the whole time!

I literally felt like I was in an aquarium and it’s the best diving I’ve experienced so far! The colours were spectacular and it was nice to see so much sea life and no rubbish! I did unfortunately get stung by fire coral but that was my own fault for swimming into it!

I saw a variety of sea life from 2 black tip sharks (that were actually more scared of me and swam off before I could capture them on my go pro!), turtles, sea urchins, star fish, eels, a crazy amount of fish (you’ll see in the videos below!), including yellowfin tuna, pufferfish and clown anemone fish!!

An underwater photographer also came with us on the trip and captured the most incredible images!
